Martial Arts East is an independent Karate company based in Norfolk, UK. Teaching Karate to individuals from ages 3 to 65, Martial Arts East is a family-friendly business that maintains high levels of professionalism, engagement and training.
I worked with Danny (Founder and Chief Instructor) to bring collective ideas to life. It promotes his brand in a minimal and sophisticated way but also ensures that it remains approachable and accessible to any member of the public wanting to try Karate for the first time - something that Martial Arts East specialises in.
It was particularly important for logos and branding to be legible and visible through online and video content, as instructors at Martial Arts East also teach through Outschool online learning platform - this branding becomes highly visible in his classes and sets Danny and his instructors apart from other tutors on the site.
With a classic combination of black and gold as the base colours, we reworked a base logo into web design, clothing, uniforms, merchandise, posters, banners and other digital and printable assets.
