In July 2022, the Manchester School of Art (BA) Illustration with Animation course took part in the New Designers at the Business Design Centre in London, UK. New Designers presents the work of 2,500 hand-picked graduate design talents from around the UK and remains the longest-running and leading design showcase in the country.
As part of my career-centred final year coursework, I was Project Manager for the Manchester School of Art student stand. The role involved liaising between university staff and students to ensure that all necessary requirements were met to ensure a successful and engaging showcase.

Below is the digital project document I created and used during the meetings and planning stages prior to attending the event. We were provided with a large amount of information by the planning team from the New Designers management - this document helped to condense the information and focus on what tasks needed to be completed. This includes deadline planning, timetables, collated team contact information, checklists tailored to the students, separate editable rotas on Google Sheets, floorplans, audio/visual layouts, detailed curation planning and object layouts.
